On the Stage...
At the end of 2023, I got to be a part of a wonderful cabaret called 'New Musicals for a New Year'. I was very honored to help Marty Jagodzinski showcase the title song in his new show 'Forevermore: The Musical'. As described by Marty, it is a show that shows diversity, inclusion, and female empowerment in a new medieval love story. I was very lucky to be able to work with him, and also collaborate with pianist Nissa Kahle who helped me find even more story and musicality within the piece.
In October and November of 2023, I got to join the cast of 'Illusion: A New Musical' and tell the story of one of the first cross dressers known in the 1920s, Julian Eltinge. I was able to help shed light on his story by playing his young mother Julia Dalton. This show was unique in so many ways and I was so lucky that Donald Loftus and Steve Zackim choose me to play this character. Julian Eltinge is a forgotten name in history and I'm so thankful we were able to bring his story to the world today.
